Tandym Group is Hiring an Emergency Room Nurse (RN) Near Coppell, TX
A health services network in Texas is currently seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their growing Emergency Room team in the Greater Dallas area.
About the Opportunity:
- Specialty: Emergency Room / Urgent Care
- Shift: Nights
- Schedule: 3 12-hour shifts per week (Thurs-Sat)
- Hours: 7pm to 7am
The Emergency Room Nurse (RN) will:
- Assess the patient and collect and document the patient's current health status and medical history
- Provide age-specific education to assigned patients
- Perform ongoing assessment and revise plan of care based on new data and patient's condition
- Document accurate and ongoing assessment of patient status
- Assist the Physician on duty in the examination and treatment of patients
- Collect specimens and conduct laboratory tests
- Review and uphold lab policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other nurses and health team members to ensure the patient's wellbeing as evidenced by staff/client feedback
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience in an Emergency Room and/or Urgent Care role/setting
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- TX Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Solid assessment, clinical, and documentations kills
- Patient oriented
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
